Fever:

The human body temperature is 98.6 F or 37 C. When our body exceeds this limit, it is called fever.

Coughing:

Coughing is an instant response of our body. It is due to soreness and scratchiness of the throat.

Flue:

Flue is a disease as well as symptom of many diseases.

Differentiate between contagious and non contagious diseases?

Answer:

 Contagious Diseases:

The disease which is  transmitted from one person to other person is called contagious diseases for example flue, polio, TB, hepatitis.


Non Contagious Diseases:

 The disease which is not  transmitted from one person to other person is called contagious diseases for example Diabetes, cancer etc.

Relate the transfer of common communicable diseases like touching, sneezing, coughing to human contact?

Answer:

Common communicable diseases can spread through human contact via touching, sneezing, and coughing. Touching contaminated surfaces transfers germs, while sneezing and coughing release infectious droplets into the air, potentially infecting others nearby.

Describe the Importance of good health?

Answer:

Good health is very important for a happy life. It means feeling strong, energetic, and free from illness. When we're healthy, we can enjoy activities, work effectively, and spend quality time with loved ones. Good health boosts our immune system, prevents diseases, and allows us to live actively. It's a precious gift that enables us to live life to the fullest.

Answer:

The diet having proper proportion of food components from each group of food is called balanced diet.

Importance of Balanced Diet:

It is importance for us to take balanced diet to fulfill the needs of our body. We can strengthen our defense system by having balanced diet. A strong defense system helps us to stay healthy and energetic life.

What are the components of the balanced diet?





Answer:

The Balanced diet has four groups of food or components:

1.Milk group:

It includes milk or made of milk things such2. as cheese, butter and yogurt etc.

2. Grain Group:

It includes wheat, rice, barley, pearl millet, maize and pulses etc.

3. Meat Group :

It includes beef, mutton, fish, chicken and eggs etc.

4. Fruits and Vegetables Group:

It includes fruits such apple, banana, orange, grapes and papaya etc., and vegetables such as ladyfinger, turnip, radish, carrot, cabbage and potato etc.

Answer:





Good health components:


1. Balanced Diet:

This means we should take all types of food such milk, meat, vegetables, fruits, grains etc.

2.Drink Fresh Water:

It is very important for us to drink fresh and clean water because it saves us from different diseases.

3.Exercise:

We should take exercise daily to remain such walking, running and playing outside.

4. Brushing Teeth:

we should brush teeth twice daily, morning and at night after dinner.

5. Getting enough sleep: We should sleep early at night for 8 to 10 hours daily.
